Wewatt
Charging premium prices without a premium look doesn’t work.

Wewatt makes bike-powered furniture that generates electricity. Already active in more than 20 countries, with 2,000 installations to its name. But the branding and website hadn’t kept pace with that story. That had to change before the next growth phase.

The challenge
International product. Outdated look.

Wewatt had been active for years in airports, offices and universities around the world. The product worked. The impact was real. But the branding, communication and website didn’t reflect it. For a company that wanted to charge higher prices to international enterprise clients, that was a problem. You can’t be a premium brand with a look that isn’t premium.

What we did
First the story. Then the brand. Then the site.

Brand strategy and copywriting

Before we touched a logo, we set out to understand. Who are Wewatt’s customers? Airports, corporate offices and universities each need a different message. We defined the target audiences, chose English as the primary language and redrew the communication: simpler, clearer, more confident. Less explaining, more convincing.

Rebranding: fresh, playful and timeless

Once the story was right, we started on the visual identity. An intensive, iterative design process that led to a playful, timeless logo, a gorgeous colour palette and clear typography. The brand had to feel approachable and premium at the same time. Something that works as well in a Brussels airport as on an Australian campus.

A custom website with wow factor

We built the website on the new brand: clean, modern and with subtle animations that mirror the experience of the product. Each segment has its own solutions page, so an airport procurement manager instantly recognises their context. The site converts for an international B2B audience.

Result
A brand that lives up to its ambition.

Wewatt now has a visual identity and website that do justice to where they stand: a pioneer in bike-powered furniture with installations on every continent. The story comes first, the product second, and the price no longer has to be defended against a look that lagged behind. That’s the foundation the next growth phase can build on.
